Health and fitness writing
No joke – health writing is hard.
I know how difficult it can be to simplify the science behind health, fitness and medicine. If only everyone knew what "metabolic conditioning" meant!
If there's one thing I'm proud of, it's my ability to "translate" even the most complex clinical studies into lay terms. You can find me on CNET, Health, Verywell, Health Journal, LIVESTRONG.com, Clean Plates, and Slickdeals.
In addition to public-facing journalism, I work with small businesses and agencies across the U.S. on website copy, blog posts, slide decks, white papers, testimonials and more. To learn more about my writing background and services, head to my professional bio or find me on LinkedIn.
Travel writing
Sometimes, it can feel impossible to capture the sheer beauty of a place and put it into words. Of course, photographs help, but prose — when written from a place of pure appreciation for a destination — can truly inspire. I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of travel writing: The travel itself, of course, but jotting down notes when beautiful thoughts suddenly strike, mapping out trips, researching attractions, and putting it all into words that'll inspire someone else to visit.
See some of my travel writing work on Lonely Planet, The Lores and Matador Network. I also write in print for ROVA Magazine.
I'm available for both journalism and content marketing opportunities in health/wellness and travel.
